My very own “Where’s Waldo?”, I bet you can’t find me. I’ll give you a clue…I’m right next to that red arrow. Of course the picture had to be taken while I was holding up my iPhone.

Ricky Gervais’ 80’s Music Video - “Bitter Heart” by Seona Dancing
Ya, that’s Ricky Gervais; the skinny guy with the Flock of Seagulls hair. If you saw Ricky on 60 Minutes this weekend, then you’ve already seen this. How was this not seen and spread widely via internetz before Sunday? It’s as funny as it is bad, but it definitely doesn’t beat “Free Love Freeway”.
Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros at The Mayan Theater - December 14th, 2009
This was easily the best show I saw this year (sorry U2 and Thom Yorke) and one of my favorite concerts of all time, and all I have to show for it is this crappy iPhone footage.
I can’t remember the last time I jumped, danced, clapped and sang so much (I know, I make it sound like I went to a taping of the Oprah show). This was the first time in a long while that I didn’t feel I was watching the performance through everyone’s cameras/cell phones up in the air in front of me; everyone was there to enjoy the show and I barely took pictures or video because it felt taboo to do such.
The audience was a very un-typical LA audience. People were loose, they were singing along to the songs that were coming out of the PA in between sets and you didn’t really see anybody standing still during the performance. Also, it didn’t hurt that everyone was good looking and happy.
